5. Number of raga on discographies

　Table-3 shows the number of ragas on each discography.

　As the table shows, the number of ragas after deleting overlapped ones is 626. Each name of raga is shown in Table-4(Actual number shown on the table is 612. 14 names were removed because they were not considered to be the right name of raga). 22 uncertain names and some South Indian ragas are included. These 22 are marked "?" after names in Table-4.

　For assigning names of uncertain ragas I discussed this with Dr. S.D. Pillai, the chief editor of THE OXFORD ENCYCLOPAEDIA OF THE MUSIC OF INDIA (2010). We fixed each one except for some
