Table-17
Table-17 shows the raga order 30th place by the frequency of appearance with instrumental music and vocal music of IDisc data. The general order of ragas appeared more than twice are listed in Table-18 (instrumental music) and Table-19 (vocal music), same as DHKM.
Among ragas at the 30th place mentioned above, ragas appeared only on instrumental is 12, only on vocal 13 and common, 18. Total number is 43. The scale constitution of the 43 ragas are shown in attached sheets. Number of common ragas appeared on both DHKM and Disc is 35. Ragas which did not appear on DHKM are Basant, Bhairav, Puriya, Ragesvari(or Ragesri), Sankara, Suddh Kalyan, Suddh Sarang.(The scale constitution of these ragas are shown in attached sheets). Comparing DHKM and IDisc, the same 35 ragas appeared on both. It is difficult to determine whether "preference" of raga changed with the generation only by this result.
Raga frequency ranking integrated instrumental music and vocal is shown in Table-20 and the order 30th place in Table-21.
Number of ragas to appear more than twice is 234 in Table-20. Number of ragas to appear only once in IDisc is 233 of total 461. It can be said that more than half of ragas are performed rarely.

As Table-16 shows, Sindhu Bhairavi is counted as Bhairavi and ragas named Misra are counted as original ragas such as Bhairavi, Pilu, Khamaj, Pahadi, Sivranjani, Tilang, Kirvani and so on.
This Table-21 shows the best 30 ragas of Hindustani music CD in 2004.
